Becoming Mrs. Hammill

I can't believe it's been almost 5 months since I lasted posted here. This year is flying by! I had stopped writing because our wedding planning was basically at a stand still for awhile. We were having trouble figuring out the budget and the timing. We initially wanted a fall wedding, but I soon realized that would land smack in the middle of my fall semester at a new school. I'm supposed to be transferring to a 4 year school to finish my Bachelor's degree next year and I wouldn't be able to take off the time I wanted for our wedding/honeymoon. We tossed around the idea of moving it up but were concerned about the budget. We also debated putting it off an extra year,  but in the end I decided I really didn't want to wait that long. We made a decision to try for June 2013 and I am really excited that in a couple weeks we will have a definite wedding date. Next weekend we will be revisiting the venue that I've been eying for months now and hopefully booking a date! I'm also thrilled that now we can finally start planning and I can go back to posting my ideas and projects here :)
