Becoming Mrs. Hammill

Shortly after I wrote my last post, I sat down and made a list of all the things I wanted to do/make for my wedding. Then I got overwhelmed, put the list on a shelf and decided I should leave it there until after the holidays.

Buuut now the holidays are over, and it's time for me to start working on some of my projects. I'm going to try to put the whole list up later with links to some of the places that I got my ideas from, but for now I have a few pictures to share.

I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted the invites to look like, so I did a mock-up of those. I'm still not done with the inside, and obviously I don't have enough information to finish them yet, but I'm just in love with the little lace pockets. This is what I have so far:

I also started working on pomander balls for the aisle at the ceremony. They're pretty time consuming, but I thought they turned out nice. I still have several more to make.

I finished and mailed my last bridesmaid card today, but those pictures are on my digital camera still so I'll have to put them up later. Now I'm waiting on one more response and my bridal party will be complete :)
